About this session
The journey of academic research is fraught with challenges, and one of the most common and disheartening experiences for researchers is the rejection of their academic papers by journals. This panel discussion explored the issue of paper rejection, focusing on the impacts on researchers and strategies to move forward while preserving and optimising their work.
Featuring a panel with varied experiences (academics, journal editors, and early-career researchers), this event sought to provide insights on how researchers can turn rejection into a stepping stone for future success.
